Xander Zayas (Undefeated Unified Champion): The 23-year-old phenom from Puerto Rico carries a flawless 23-0 record with 13 knockouts. He became the youngest unified ruler at junior middleweight by capturing the vacant WBO belt last July and taking a tough split decision over Abass Baraou in January to claim the WBA strap. He returns to New York to put both of his world titles on the line against his biggest career test.
Jaron “Boots” Ennis (Undefeated Challenger): The 28-year-old pound-for-pound star from Philadelphia is moving up in weight to become a two-division champion. Bringing a spectacular 35-0 record with 31 knockouts, the former unified welterweight king made a statement in his junior middleweight debut by running through Uisma Lima inside of a single round.
The Matchup: Zayas brings sharp, highly technical combination punching, strong inside defense, and high-level veteran poise at a young age.
